ApexLOAD PRO has - next to xxlreloading.com - become the reloader's go-to for building and refining loads at the bench. Now there's a companion for the range: ApexLOAD FIELD, a native iOS and Android app built to go wherever your shooting does.
ApexLOAD FIELD isn't a stripped-down mobile version of the website — it's a dedicated field tool designed for the moments a laptop can't cover: dialing in a come-up before a shot, logging a chrono string between strings, or reading a group off a target with your camera.
What's inside
Shoot — A full ballistic solver in your pocket. Enter your bullet, muzzle velocity, and zero, and get instant come-up and windage in MOA or clicks, a sortable trajectory table (velocity, energy, Mach, drop), key metrics like MPBR and optimum zero, and a trajectory graph comparing your current zero against the optimum. Dial in wind speed and direction on an interactive wind dial and watch the numbers update live.
Measure — Log chronograph strings against your saved loads and weapons, and track velocity and pressure over your reloading history at a glance.
Analyze — Snap a photo of a target and let AI find your shots for you. ApexLOAD FIELD detects the group automatically and reports group size in both mm and MOA — no more measuring calipers on paper at the bench.
Database — Keep profiles for every weapon, cartridge, and bullet you shoot, and a running diary of every load you've built, synced with your ApexLOAD PRO account.
Discuss — Threaded discussions with other shooters, hunters, and reloaders, right inside the app.
Everything you log in the field — chrono strings, shot groups, weapon profiles — flows straight back into your ApexLOAD PRO account, so your bench data and range data finally live in one place.
Android users: get in early
ApexLOAD FIELD for Android is currently in private beta, and we're inviting xxlreloading.com members and ApexLOAD PRO users to be among the first to try it. Sign up here:
(iOS users — hang tight, more news on that front soon)

I can't wait; this is such a great initiative. i use to be an ardent SturLock user until the app was discontinued. if your development, which i know it will be, is anything as close to StuLock you're going to hit it out of the field. don't hold back, go mad - you beauties... 🍻
