Inceptor Load Data
Our Inceptor load data covers 33,052 load recipes for 19 bullets and 122 calibers. Find all bullets and reloading data below and compare the performance of different powders for each bullet and caliber combination side-by-side.

Inceptor bullets are modern projectiles developed by PolyCase Ammunition, designed primarily for handgun and some rifle applications. They use an innovative construction called ARX (Advanced Rotational eXpansion) technology, which differs significantly from traditional lead-core bullets. Instead of relying on expansion through a hollow point, Inceptor bullets are typically made from a copper–polymer matrix or other lightweight metal-polymer materials and feature a distinctive fluted nose design.
When the bullet strikes a target, the fluted geometry redirects tissue radially outward, creating a hydraulic displacement effect. This mechanism produces a large wound channel without requiring the bullet to expand in the conventional sense. Because the bullet does not rely on expansion, its terminal performance is less dependent on impact velocity compared to traditional hollow-point designs.
A key characteristic of Inceptor bullets is their light weight and high velocity. The reduced mass allows cartridges to achieve higher velocities with less recoil while maintaining reliable feeding and penetration. In addition, the copper-polymer construction eliminates exposed lead, making these projectiles non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
Inceptor bullets are often used in self-defense ammunition, law enforcement loads, and specialized applications where lightweight, high-velocity projectiles are desirable. Their unique design represents an alternative approach to terminal ballistics, emphasizing fluid displacement and rotational energy transfer rather than conventional expansion.

About Inceptor load data on XXL Reloading
This page collects every Inceptor bullet we hold reloading data for, grouped by caliber and bullet weight. Each caliber and bullet combination links to a detail page with powder-by-powder load recipes: powder brand and type, start and maximum charge weight in grains and grams, case fill ratio, calculated peak chamber pressure, muzzle velocity and the barrel length the load was computed for.
Unlike a manufacturer's own tables, our Inceptor data is generated with an inner-ballistics engine across the full powder range, so you can compare many powders side by side for the same bullet instead of the handful a single load manual prints. Charge weights, pressures and velocities are modelled consistently, which makes cross-powder and cross-caliber comparison meaningful when you work up a load.
Use the caliber and bullet-weight filters above to narrow the list, switch to the Bullets tab to browse the Inceptor product range, and open any combination to see the full load table. All data is calculated reference data for experienced handloaders: always start at the minimum charge, work up carefully in your own rifle, and cross-check against current published data before firing.
