Vectan SP-2 Practical is a double-base (NC) handgun powder with a medium–fast burn rate, formulated to sit between Vectan’s Ba-9 and SP-3 types. It’s advertised as especially good for action/competition use (IPSC) because it can reach “Major” power-factor velocities inside legal maximum pressures, and is recommended for calibers such as 9 mm Luger, .38/.357, .40 S&W, 10 mm Auto, .44 Rem. Mag and .45 ACP (and often praised for .38 Super loads).
