The 8x57 PCC cartridge is a rimless, bottlenecked rifle cartridge that was developed for use in the CZ Bren Bolt-Action Carbine. It is based on the 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge and has a bullet diameter of .323 inches. The 8x57 PCC was designed with the goal of providing shooters with increased velocity and accuracy compared to other cartridges of similar size, such as the 8x57 IS or .30-06 Springfield.
