Remington bullets have a rich heritage that mirrors the evolution of ammunition technology and shooting sports in the United States and beyond. Founded in 1816, the Remington Arms Company began as a firearms manufacturer and soon expanded into ammunition production. By the late 1800s, Remington had already become a key player in bullet manufacturing, with a legacy built on innovation, reliability, and performance.
Over the decades, Remington has been at the forefront of bullet design, contributing significantly to advancements in ballistic performance, terminal effectiveness, and shooter safety. The company's bullet lineup is renowned for addressing a wide spectrum of applications—from big game hunting to precision shooting and self-defense.
Among its most iconic products is the Core-Lokt, often referred to as "the deadliest mushroom in the woods." This bullet features a mechanically locked core and jacket, delivering deep penetration, controlled expansion, and proven performance in the field for generations of hunters.
For enhanced accuracy and long-range capability, the Premier AccuTip is engineered with a polymer tip and optimized aerodynamic profile, making it a go-to choice for precision hunters and varmint shooters. The Ultimate Defense series caters to personal protection, offering reliable expansion and penetration in critical situations.
Remington also offers specialized solutions such as the Hog Hammer, built for tough feral hogs, and the Golden Saber, a respected name in law enforcement and civilian self-defense ammunition, known for its brass-jacketed design and performance under pressure.
With a continued focus on innovation and adaptation, Remington remains a leading force in ammunition manufacturing, offering a diverse range of bullets that meet the demands of modern hunters, shooters, and professionals worldwide.

About Remington load data on XXL Reloading
This page collects every Remington bullet we hold reloading data for, grouped by caliber and bullet weight. Each caliber and bullet combination links to a detail page with powder-by-powder load recipes: powder brand and type, start and maximum charge weight in grains and grams, case fill ratio, calculated peak chamber pressure, muzzle velocity and the barrel length the load was computed for.
Unlike a manufacturer's own tables, our Remington data is generated with an inner-ballistics engine across the full powder range, so you can compare many powders side by side for the same bullet instead of the handful a single load manual prints. Charge weights, pressures and velocities are modelled consistently, which makes cross-powder and cross-caliber comparison meaningful when you work up a load.
Use the caliber and bullet-weight filters above to narrow the list, switch to the Bullets tab to browse the Remington product range, and open any combination to see the full load table. All data is calculated reference data for experienced handloaders: always start at the minimum charge, work up carefully in your own rifle, and cross-check against current published data before firing.
