Atomic 29 load data

Atomic29 hunting bullets are premium, all-copper rifle projectiles designed primarily for hunting. They’re made in Australia by a small producer using CNC machines to turn solid copper bar stock into precisely engineered bullets. The name “Atomic29” comes from copper’s atomic number (29) on the periodic table, the metal used for construction.

These bullets are monolithic copper designs — meaning they’re one solid piece of metal without a separate jacket or core — featuring a hollow-point front and boat-tail rear for balanced expansion and aerodynamic efficiency. Grooves cut into the shank help reduce barrel pressure and allow copper to flow with the rifling, which minimizes fouling.

Atomic29 projectiles are intended to expand reliably at high velocity and retain most of their weight after impact, giving deep, straight-line penetration on game animals. Independent field tests and hunting reports note good accuracy and strong performance on medium to large game, with bullets often exiting the animal or embedding deep after expansion.

Because they’re copper rather than lead, they’re non-toxic and compliant with many areas’ hunting regulations that restrict lead ammunition. They’re designed for use at typical cartridge velocities and aren’t suitable for subsonic loads.
