Swift Bullet Company, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Kansas, USA, is a leading manufacturer of premium hunting bullets and high-performance ammunition. The company is renowned for producing projectiles that deliver exceptional accuracy, deep penetration, and superior terminal performance—qualities essential for ethical big-game hunting.
Swift’s rise to prominence began with the development of its flagship bullet, the A-Frame. This bonded-core, semi-spitzer bullet is engineered for controlled expansion and high weight retention, often exceeding 95%, making it a preferred choice among hunters targeting dangerous game. Its proprietary bonding process ensures the lead core remains fused to the copper jacket, maintaining structural integrity even under extreme impact.
Building on the success of the A-Frame, Swift introduced the Scirocco II, a polymer-tipped, bonded boat-tail bullet designed for long-range shooting. Known for its flat trajectory and high ballistic coefficient, the Scirocco II is ideal for open-country hunting where precision and retained energy are critical.
For hunters facing the most formidable game, Swift offers the Break-Away Solid, a non-expanding monolithic bullet crafted for deep, straight-line penetration on thick-skinned species such as Cape buffalo and elephants.
In addition to component bullets, Swift also manufactures Swift High Grade Ammunition, a factory-loaded line that mirrors the quality and precision of custom handloads. This ensures top-tier performance straight from the box for discerning hunters and shooters.
Swift Bullet Company continues to be a trusted name in the hunting world, recognized for its meticulous craftsmanship, relentless innovation, and unwavering commitment to producing bullets that perform flawlessly in the most demanding conditions. Whether pursuing North American elk or Africa’s big five, Swift bullets remain a benchmark for reliability and ethical hunting success.

About Swift load data on XXL Reloading
This page collects every Swift bullet we hold reloading data for, grouped by caliber and bullet weight. Each caliber and bullet combination links to a detail page with powder-by-powder load recipes: powder brand and type, start and maximum charge weight in grains and grams, case fill ratio, calculated peak chamber pressure, muzzle velocity and the barrel length the load was computed for.
Unlike a manufacturer's own tables, our Swift data is generated with an inner-ballistics engine across the full powder range, so you can compare many powders side by side for the same bullet instead of the handful a single load manual prints. Charge weights, pressures and velocities are modelled consistently, which makes cross-powder and cross-caliber comparison meaningful when you work up a load.
Use the caliber and bullet-weight filters above to narrow the list, switch to the Bullets tab to browse the Swift product range, and open any combination to see the full load table. All data is calculated reference data for experienced handloaders: always start at the minimum charge, work up carefully in your own rifle, and cross-check against current published data before firing.
