Sellier & Bellot, one of the oldest and most respected names in the ammunition industry, was founded in 1825 in Prague by Josef Sellier and Jean Marie Bellot. What began as a small operation producing percussion caps quickly evolved into a global enterprise known for quality, innovation, and reliability. Over nearly two centuries, the company has played a key role in advancing ammunition technology, from the development of smokeless powder to the manufacturing of precision cartridges for both civilian and military markets.
Today, Sellier & Bellot is recognized worldwide for its wide-ranging portfolio of high-performance ammunition and bullet components. The company produces ammunition for hunting, sport shooting, military, law enforcement, and self-defense, ensuring that each product line meets rigorous international standards.
Among its most popular bullet types, the S&B FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) series is widely favored for target practice and training due to its consistency and affordability. The S&B SP (Soft Point) line is tailored for hunting, offering reliable expansion and effective energy transfer for ethical game harvesting. For precision shooting and tactical needs, the S&B HP (Hollow Point) and S&B TS (Tactical Soft) bullets deliver superior accuracy and terminal ballistics.
Sellier & Bellot operates as part of the CBC Group, which also includes Magtech and MEN, further strengthening its global presence. With its manufacturing facility located in Vlašim, Czech Republic, the company continues to invest in research, innovation, and advanced production technologies. Sellier & Bellot’s enduring legacy, combined with modern manufacturing excellence, ensures its place at the forefront of the global ammunition industry, trusted by professional shooters, hunters, and defense organizations across more than 100 countries.

About Sellier & Bellot load data on XXL Reloading
This page collects every Sellier & Bellot bullet we hold reloading data for, grouped by caliber and bullet weight. Each caliber and bullet combination links to a detail page with powder-by-powder load recipes: powder brand and type, start and maximum charge weight in grains and grams, case fill ratio, calculated peak chamber pressure, muzzle velocity and the barrel length the load was computed for.
Unlike a manufacturer's own tables, our Sellier & Bellot data is generated with an inner-ballistics engine across the full powder range, so you can compare many powders side by side for the same bullet instead of the handful a single load manual prints. Charge weights, pressures and velocities are modelled consistently, which makes cross-powder and cross-caliber comparison meaningful when you work up a load.
Use the caliber and bullet-weight filters above to narrow the list, switch to the Bullets tab to browse the Sellier & Bellot product range, and open any combination to see the full load table. All data is calculated reference data for experienced handloaders: always start at the minimum charge, work up carefully in your own rifle, and cross-check against current published data before firing.
