Hi, I recently joined to find data for 8x68s. Not many are available from powder or bullet manufacturer.
However, for the few I had there is a huge difference that I find hard to explain.
ex. From vihta published data. N160 and accubond 200 gr. Max load listed at 70.r gr.
Xxl reload give 64.3 gr as max load … and a lower MV of course.
Any insight ?

This is a bad implemented section. In my 338 loads, the statement is that every inch of added barrel adds approx 7,8 fps. while the graph show bnetween 20 and 35 fps added. Maybe there is a conversion to m/s going or what do i know. And there is no option to shift the graph to fit some numbers from the load data table, Not really usable.

I do not have access to all the powders in the world. And while it is fun to look at what could be done, i think it's just noise.
I would like in load data overview to be able to uncheck powder manufacturer and only see data for the manufacturers i can actually buy in my area.
We like this suggestion a lot! It is complex but we might have found a way to implement. Please go to the bottom of the "My Account " page to select the powder brands you like to consider and press the save button. THIS NEW FEATURE IS IN BETA - please let us know if it works properly! Enjoy😀

we can check for 44 Magnum. For which bullets are you looking for? Have you seen the comment "Any powder missing? Then click here." on the bottom of each load page. The link opens the following instructions:
Our default view of a load page only displays powders/loads that fulfill certain criteria:
Achieve Fill Rate > 80% and < 100%. The thresholds for revolver and pistol loads are > 60% and < 100%.
Max pressure of a load <=90% of Max. Standardized Pressure.
Propellant Combustion for rifle loads >90% (lower values typically lead to unsteady results and strong muzzle flash)
Propellant Combustion for pistol/revolver loads >80%
Use the "Personalized Load Calculator" on the page (see tabs) to relax these criteria and see more powders.

Go to Load Data by Bullet/Powder>Select Norma in Powder Section> See below powders, there is a graphic that shows "Norma Powders used by our Community..."> the legend for the powders listed shows Reload Swiss powders not Norma.

Generally pleased, but...
Missing calibers: 30-40 Krag, 7.7 Japanese,
Slow loading pages or never finish loading, cant click buttons or blank grids
Dropdowns sometimes have ice cream flavors
No older discontinued powders?
On Load Data: calibers/bullets/powder, highlight already bookmarked items

Hi - this topic is the most commenly discussed and we get many emails with similar enquiries. However, we are happy to explain again:
When comparing load data, make sure you compare apples with apples, i.e. load data based on similar inputs
Our inputs are always stated on each load page, most importantly: COL, case capacity and safety buffer
In this particular case, you compare our data with a 3.374" to 3.425" at VH. We have a safety buffer of 10% while VH assumes 0
You can use our personalized load calculator and adjust our values to those og VH and get to a max load of 67.7 g vs. 70.4 of VH - a difference of 5%
Unfortunatly, VH only specifies that they use a RWS case but do not state the case capcity. if it is larger than what we assume, the gap would be reduced further.
